It’s beginning to look a lot like 2006 for Chivas USA—where they won only three road matches.

Chivas USA has played three matches on the road in the 2007 MLS season and they are 0-3. In those matches, they’ve given up 6 goals and only scored two.

They lost a close match to the Houston Dynamo (1-0), then they went to L.A. and were no match for the Galaxy (3-1) and on Sunday they lost on the road to the D.C. United (2-1).

This Saturday they have another road contest. This time they meet the Columbus Crew (1-1-3). This is a match that may end up with Chivas USA getting their first road win.

In 2006, Chivas USA was horrible on the road (3-7-6), but most of the MLS was as well. They finished 6th in points overall—a huge improvement from 2005.

Can they turn the corner and get 5-6 road victories? Time will tell.
